Tuesdays Tunes - Escape

Wouldn't you just love to be in someplace tropical like Hawaii or Jamaica? I have a friend that will be flying off to Jamaica next week, so that reminded me that I had created this mix of music one rainy, cold day to remind me of a place warm with soft breezes and the scent of tropical flowers.

Enjoy the tunes this week because as you know next week they will be gone. You just can't beat Bob Marley.

Tuesday Tunes - Gemstone Wonders

I love this mix for this week. I created it for another blog that I help write for the Puyallup Valley Gem and Mineral club. All the songs have a gemstone in the name. It was interesting finding some of the songs and remembering them. I've included some pics that I took this weekend at our annual show. It was a lot of hard work, but it is now completed for the year...funny thing is I volunteered to help at another show in October....I must like punishment.

Tuesday Tunes - Dreams

Sometimes we just need to dream a little. What's your dream? Where are your dreams taking you? Since this blog is titled Doodles and Dreams I felt it was appropriate to talk about my dreams and yours. You get to read my random thoughts daily and they are pretty random. Sometimes I'm in the mood for music and sometimes a little food and other days I just like to ramble a bit. My goal not my dream was to blog every day and so far this month I'm doing pretty good. It is a bit of work, but I find I love it. I even started two new blogs, one on antique and collectibles and the other is on crafting. I've added the links to the list if you want to check those out.

So think about your dreams and where you want them to take you. Sit back listen to the new mix for the week and plan your dreams.

In the Pink

Today's tunes are all about Pink. You know there aren't a whole lot of songs with the word Pink in the title. Obviously, the first song is my favorite and it brings up all kinds of memories of the movies. Enjoy the tunes....they will only be here for a week and then it changes.
